The WolfRiders howl for Bearclaw and his mate Joyleaf and relive, for the sake of the cubs, the fate of their former chiefs.One day six years ago, a foul smell (both physical and psychic) inundated the Holt of the WolfRiders. Chief Bearclaw led the tribe's hunters out to hunt this thing down. After tracking it for some time (perhaps days?) they encountered a giant magic-warped serpent/cat that hate-sends and has its own name: Madcoil. Half of the tribe is killed by this abomination, including Treestump's sister/Bearclaw's mate/Cutter's mother: Joyleaf
